FAQ
Questions before the first note
Who operates Dearune?
Dearune is operated by an individual developer based in China and serves customers worldwide. For support, privacy and copyright questions, contact help@dearune.com.
What is a personalized song gift?
A personalized song gift turns your memories and message into a song for one person. Dearune creates the lyrics and music with AI, then a human reviews the song before delivery.
How much does a custom song cost?
A Dearune song gift costs $39 USD, paid once, including applicable tax. There is no subscription. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge.
What will I receive?
Your gift includes a full song MP3, an instrumental from the same song, lyrics, a cover and a keepsake video. Everything is digital; no physical record is shipped.
Do I need an account?
You can create and pay for a song without signing in. Create an account with your checkout email when you want to see your order history or request revisions.
Do I need to write lyrics?
Just tell us your memories in your own words. A funny habit, a quiet moment, and what you want to say are a wonderful place to start.
When will my gift arrive?
Our target is delivery by email within 24 hours of payment. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge. You can send the gift to yourself first or directly to your recipient.
Can I ask for a change?
Yes. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge. Sign in with your verified checkout email and tell us what you would like to change. Every new version is reviewed before it replaces your song. You can request further changes once that version is delivered.
Which language can I order?
You can order songs in English, Italian, or Spanish. Choose your song language separately from the website language. The listening room includes fictional examples in English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
Is my song public?
Your song has an unlisted link and is excluded from search engines and public galleries. Anyone with the link can listen, so share it only with people you choose.
Can I download and share it?
You can download the song and available gift formats for personal, noncommercial use, and share your song’s link. Resale, music-library use, and distribution through music streaming platforms are not included.
Can I request a refund?
If your song does not feel right, we start with multiple revisions at no extra charge. If a significant issue cannot reasonably be resolved, we review other remedies, including a possible refund, case by case. Your statutory rights and Creem’s Buyer Terms still apply.
