A song only you could give.
A birthday song that belongs to them.
A personalized birthday song celebrates a person through your own memories, rather than a familiar birthday tune. Tell Dearune about them and the message you want this new chapter to carry.
A few details to start with
Celebrate who they are, beyond the number.
Remember a birthday when the cake leaned to one side, everyone laughed and they insisted it was perfect. That detail can anchor a joyful song without turning the lyrics into a checklist.
- What habit or joke would they recognize immediately?
- Which moment from the past year deserves a line?
- What do you hope their next year brings?

FAQ
Questions before the first note
Will this use the familiar Happy Birthday melody?
Dearune creates an original song around your story. It is not a cover of the traditional birthday song, and you do not need to provide an existing melody.
Can the song mention their name or age?
You can choose whether their name appears in the lyrics. Include an age only if you want it mentioned, and check the details before continuing.
How much does a custom song cost?
A Dearune song gift costs $39 USD, paid once, including applicable tax. There is no subscription. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge.
What will I receive?
Your gift includes a full song MP3, an instrumental from the same song, lyrics, a cover and a keepsake video. Everything is digital; no physical record is shipped.
When will my gift arrive?
Our target is delivery by email within 24 hours of payment. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge. You can send the gift to yourself first or directly to your recipient.
Can I ask for a change?
Yes. Multiple revisions are included at no extra charge. Sign in with your verified checkout email and tell us what you would like to change. Every new version is reviewed before it replaces your song. You can request further changes once that version is delivered.
Can I request a refund?
If your song does not feel right, we start with multiple revisions at no extra charge. If a significant issue cannot reasonably be resolved, we review other remedies, including a possible refund, case by case. Your statutory rights and Creem’s Buyer Terms still apply.
